Scarlett Johansson Stands with Racist Planned Parenthood

Hollywood celebrities who were not aborted are coming to the rescue of Planned Parenthood. Scarlett Johansson is one of them. She says the following in a new counter video to the body parts videos that have been released: “I stand with Planned Parenthood, because Planned Parenthood stands up for me.”

Actors that support Planned Parenthood seem to think that abortion is part of some Hollywood script. Like the films they’re in, no one really gets hurt. The sad fact is, somebody always dies during an abortion.

Scarlett Johansson (whose mother obviously did not abort her) has been a long-time supporter of Planned Parenthood. She spoke at the 2012 Democrat National Convention in support of Planned Parenthood and blasted President George W. Bush’s pro-life views.

Johansson describes abortion as liberation; liberty for her but not for the unborn children that are killed by their mothers in Planned Parenthood abortion facilities.

To show her undying support for the real bloody business of Planned Parenthood, Johansson designed pink T-shirts that read on the front, “Hey Politicians! The 1950s called.” On the back, the shirts say: “They want their sexism back!” Text on the left sleeve is signed, “Love Scarlett Johansson.”

Johansson must want racism back, too. Margaret Sanger, the the founder of Planned Parenthood (originally named the American Birth Control League) was an outspoken racist.

“We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”1

To stand with Planned Parenthood is to stand for racism.

If Johansson really believes in abortion, why not put a picture of the “product of conception,” a euphemism designed to divert people’s attention from the reality that an unborn child is being killed, on the front of the t-shirt with the following text:

It might look like a baby, but don’t believe everything you see.

Johansson promotes the false premise that the Hobby Lobby Supreme Court decision gave “bosses the right to interfere in our access to birth control.” The Court made no such ruling. Women have not been denied access to birth control.

Subterfuge is the name of the game.

“Planned Parenthood has started an online initiative, called #StandwithPP, and the latest video appears to be just the beginning. ‘We won’t back down. We won’t stop fighting to educate. We will fight to protect access to reproductive health are for Planned Parenthood patients,’ reads an earlier post.”

So let’s really educate. Let’s do dueling videos and let the American people decide if “reproductive health” includes killing unborn babies and bidding for their discarded body parts.

But when someone like Johansson supports killing unborn babies, we really can’t expect her to tell the truth about a decision from the Supreme Court. Abortion must be defended at all costs. Lying is acceptable for the cause. Don’t pay attention to the brutal nature of the bloody business. Instead, get outraged over a dead lion thousands of miles away.

Facts no longer matter because their conscience has been seared:

“But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron” (1 Tim. 4:2-3).

In 2005, Johansson starred in the film The Island where her character and everyone else on “the island” are actually clones whose owners keep them imprisoned for the day when their organs might be needed. True freedom for these clones is to escape “the island” and to live as independent human beings.

Unborn babies are like the clones on The Island. They want to be free, but Scarlett Johansson and many of her Hollywood friends support letting their “owners” kill them and permitting Planned Parenthood to sell their aborted body parts.
