Netflix and Disney Support Aborting Future Customers

The Apostle Paul writes in his second letter to Timothy:

Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith. But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as Jannes’s and Jambres’s folly was also (2 Tim 3:8-9).

Netflix and Disney Studios are in the filmmaking business to make money. In order to make money, they need people to pay for their films and subscribe to their platforms.

Hollywood filmmakers don’t like Georgia’s anti-abortion law that will go into effect next year. Alabama, Missouri, and Louisiana are following with similar anti-abortion legislation. Filmmakers have chosen to come to Georgia because of tax incentives. Now Ron Howard, Disney, Netflix, and other filmmakers want to leave the state because of the state’s anti-abortion laws. Will they go to high-tax pro-abortion states like Illinois and New York?

Why did they come to Georgia when they could have stayed in pro-abortion California? Money. Profits. The bottom line.

These filmmakers should stand up and say “Abortion Kills Our Future Customers!”

No other business in the world would advocate killing future customers, but these numbskulls are doing it. Disney has been all about making films for children. But what if their liberal friends keep killing their children and people who are having children no longer want to watch pro-abortion Disney films?

These people are idiots. They should be supporting states that stand against killing unborn babies if only for economic reasons. They should tell their pro-abortion supporters that they want women to have more babies because in a few years they will be the ones watching their films.

They need to take a lesson from Forrest Gump, a film where some of the scenes were shot in Georgia: “Stupid is as stupid does.”

The thing of it is, Netflix has no problem going to majority Muslim nations to produce shows where abortion is illegal, women’s rights are at a minimum, and homosexuals are often thrown off buildings to their death.

Netflix plans to step up production in the Middle East, notably Jordan and Egypt, where abortion is illegal, after mulling a company boycott in Georgia on account of the “heartbeat” abortion bill.

Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, Ted Sarandos, stated, Tuesday [May 28], that the company would “rethink” its Georgia investments if the “heartbeat” abortion bill takes effect.

Netflix’s expressed reluctance to produce content in regions with strong anti-abortion laws seemingly does not extend to the Middle East, where recently the company has been ramping up the number of undertaken projects, according to Variety.

Netflix is working on its third Arabic original, titled “Paranormal,” Variety reports. The show will be based on a series of Arabic horror books written by Egyptian author, Ahmed Khaled Tawfik, according to Variety. The show will be produced in Egypt, where abortion is punishable by imprisonment in almost all circumstances, according to the Pew Research Center. (Life News)

Disney is equally delusional and hypocritical:

The Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Bob Iger said in an interview with Reuters on Wednesday that it would be “very difficult” to continue doing business in Georgia if the state law takes effect as scheduled on Jan. 1, 2020.

“I rather doubt we will,” Iger told Reuters, adding, “I don’t see how it’s practical for us to continue to shoot there.”

“I think many people who work for us will not want to work there, and we will have to heed their wishes in that regard. Right now we are watching it very carefully.”

Some have accused Disney of holding a double standard, noting that while the company considers leaving Georgia over its abortion law, they have recently considered opening a new resort in Saudi Arabia. (Christian Post)

Not only are these nations anti-abortion, but they are also anti-homosexual. “A survey by Pew Research Centre in 2013 found that most people in the region believe homosexuality should be rejected: 97% in Jordan, 95% in Egypt and 80% in Lebanon.” (The Economist)

Hypocrisy runs deep with these people.
