Hispanic Reporter Gets Schooled when She Pulls the Race Card

Pulling the race card in an attempt to win a political debate may be over. I’ll quote Saul Alinsky on this one from his “12 Rules for Radicals”:

RULE 7: ‘A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.’ Don’t become old news. (Even radical activists get bored. So to keep them excited and involved, organizers are constantly coming up with new tactics.)

The race card tactic dragged on too long. This last election relegated the tactic to the trash heap of history.

It’s not that people like Al Sharpton and Charlie Rangel, who refers to those in the Tea Party as “white crackers,” a slur that he claims whites believe is a “term of endearment,” won’t continue to pull it, but its impact on the public has been neutralized.

Hopefully when blacks see that it was Republicans who voted blacks into office they will abandon the liberal plantation that has kept them as voting slaves for decades.

The charge of racism has moved south, not the southeast, but the southwest. Some Hispanics have decided that they can use the race card on people who want immigration laws enforced for anybody coming into the United States.

Watch as a reporter from Univision 34 (KMEX) in Los Angeles attempts to use the race card against an anti-illegal immigration protester who was badly injured during a demonstration. The friend he mentions is Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson who is standing next to him.

“You’ll notice the indignant reporter’s facial expression and body language show that she quickly realizes she lost the argument, but is too arrogant to admit it.”

Standing up for our nation’s laws is not racist. These laws are designed to protect everybody. There is a process to become a citizen of the United States. Millions of people have followed those laws. Dismissing laws in one area makes it easier to dismiss laws in other areas.

The problem with the race charge is that most Hispanics and Latinos are Caucasian. When we talk about Hispanics and Latinos (often used interchangeably), we’re dealing with ethnicity, not race.

U.S. Congressman Kerry Bentivolio (R-Mich) explains what’s going on: “Democrats want the votes, and the Republicans want the cheap labor.”

Most Americans believe that illegal immigration will bankrupt an already insolvent social services (welfare) system that is a perpetual drag on our economy and a deep voting pool for the Democrat Party.
