Here’s What Real Terrorists do, Mr. Vice President
You’ve probably heard by now that Vice President Biden described Tea Party members as terrorists. Others from his party said that it was the Tea Party that was holding the nation hostage during budget negotiations. It doesn’t stop with liberal politicians. As usual, the media have gotten into the act. Chris Matthews of MSNBC’s “Hardball” (does anybody watch his show?) described the GOP holdouts as “terrorists,” “Wahhabis of American government,” and baby kidnappers. Recently he added “muggers.” “What we saw,” Matthews screeched, “what I saw at least, was one guy with a knife and the other trying to avoid being cut. It was a thug attacking a victim. It was a mugging.”
Of course, no physical assault ever took place, but these guys are so afraid of a popular electoral uprising that they will do anything to scare the American voter. Unfortunately, there are enough stooges out there who believe the rhetoric.
It wasn’t too long ago when liberals were decrying violent rhetoric, going back as far as Timothy McVeigh and most recently with the Gabrielle Giffords’ shooting. Of course, this only applies to conservatives and Republicans. Violent rhetoric is what liberals do. It’s mother’s milk to them
Real terror does not faze Biden and Matthews, especially when it’s against Christians. Do you remember how quickly the liberal press made the Norwegian murder into a Christian fundamentalist even though his views are closer to atheism?
Where is the outrage at the latest attacks on Christians by real terrorists? There is none.
In a coordinated effort to generate fear among Iraqi Christians, the ethnically and religiously diverse city of Kirkuk witnessed another attack outside a Syrian Catholic Church on Tuesday [August 2, 2011) around 6 a.m. At least 23 people were wounded in the attack, mostly from surrounding homes. The church’s parish leader, Imad Yalda, was inside the church during the bombing and was also among the wounded. Following the attack, two other car bombs were also found outside Kirkuk’s Christian Anglican Church and the Mar Gourgis church. . . . Violence directed at Iraq’s Christian minority hit an all time high last October when 52 people were killed and dozens wounded in an attack on Baghdad’s Our Lady of Salvation Catholic Church.
Peaceful Americans are terrorists, but there is no real war with Islamic terrorists. To state that would offend Muslims. It’s OK to offend millions of Christians, but don’t let anyone dare tell the truth about Islamic terrorism.
