Fans Blame Duke Loss on NC Transgender Bathroom Bill

The Duke Blue Devils lost to No. 7 University of South Carolina Gamecocks 88-81. Some fans contend that it was North Carolina’s bathroom bill that contributed to the loss since the NCAA would not hold any part of its tournament in North Carolina because of the “discriminatory” law.

Because of the NCAA’s stupidity, Duke had to play out of state. This meant that Duke did not have the home court advantage. Poor babies.

“So while Duke could have played Sunday night’s game in Greensboro, N.C., a mere 45 minutes away from its campus,  instead it had to play in Greenville, less than two hours away from the University of South Carolina’s campus.” (The Blaze)

What about every team that is playing an away game? These people are as insane as those who support the belief that men can become women.

There’s a scene in Hoosiers where an Indiana basketball team from a very small school is playing for the state championship in Indianapolis. When the team and coaches enter the fieldhouse where the game is to be played, they are awestruck. It’s massive. The coach, played by Gene Hackman, takes out a tape measure and measures the length of the key and the height of the basket. They’re 15′ and 10′ respectively, the same as their home court.

If a team can’t win on the road, it has no business playing the game. Of course, the team members aren’t making excuses. It’s the team’s goofy fans.

If enough states fight the transgender insanity, companies, sports teams, and concert promoters wanting to boycott states won’t have any place to go except high-tax states that many people and businesses are trying to escape.

The NFL and NCAA are hypocrites. Neither sports agency has a single transgender player. There is no way that a woman who believes she’s a man is going to play in the NFL. The same is true for men’s college basketball.

What is happening is men claiming to be women who are invading women’s sports and depriving actual women from being able to compete fairly.

Transgender New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard won his (her) international competition. He competed as a woman but is actually a man.

Bronze medallist Kaitlyn Fassina comment, “She is who she is. That’s the way the politics … and what the New Zealanders have decided. I can’t say much more than that. She is seen as female and that’s the way it is.”

Two-time Olympian Deborah Acason went further: “If I was in that category I wouldn’t feel like I was in an equal situation.”

Of course it’s not equal, but this is the rotten fruit of sexual insanity.

Folks, this is a man masquerading as a woman:

The fact is, North Carolina is thriving economically. The following is from The Washington Times:

North Carolina may have lost out on the NCAA championships, the NBA All-Star Game and Bruce Springsteen thanks to its hotly contested transgender bathroom law, but the state’s economy didn’t miss a beat.

Economic indicators released for 2016 show that the boycott has failed to derail North Carolina as a regional and national powerhouse, despite the loss of high-profile performances and sporting events in response to House Bill 2, signed March 23 by then-Gov. Pat McCrory.

Tourism has thrived: Hotel occupancy, room rates and demand for rooms set records in 2016, according to the year-end hotel lodging report issued last week by VisitNC, part of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina.

Meanwhile, North Carolina ranked fourth in the nation for attracting and expanding businesses with the arrival of 289 major projects, and seventh in projects per capita — the same as in 2015, according to Site Selection magazine, which released its 2016 rankings in the March edition.

North Carolina finished first for drawing corporate facilities in the eight-state South Atlantic region, said Site Selection, which uses figures tracked by the Conway Projects Database.

And in November, both Forbes and Site Selection magazine ranked North Carolina the No. 2 state for business climate.
