Congress to Vote to Ban ‘Gender Identity’ and ‘Sexual Orientation’ Discrimination

Homosexuals like to compare their “struggle” for equal rights to that of blacks. There was a time when blacks who served in the military were segregated from the white military population. What many people do not realize is that blacks have served in every American war:

“The Military history of African Americans spans from the arrival of the first black slaves during the colonial history of the United States to the present day. There has been no war fought by or within the United States in which African Americans did not participate, including the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Mexican-American War, the Civil War, the Spanish American War, the World Wars, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as other minor conflicts.”

Being black is not a behavior. A person’s race is not gauged by behavior. In most cases, a black person can be spotted by skin color alone. The same cannot be said about homosexuals, because homosexuality is defined in terms of certain sexual acts.

In fact, a person can engage in same-sex sex without being designated a homosexual. Same-sex discrimination applies to everybody.

These types of distinctions no longer matter. Not only is same-sex sexual behavior accepted, but any person that discriminates against someone who engages in same-sex sex is now discriminated against. Personal beliefs about sexual behavior are no longer tolerated if those beliefs have been legislated against.

There was a time when CNN would not hire people if they smoked. It was a particular behavior that was taken into account.

None of this really matters when it comes to employment. I believe that employers should be able to hire who they want and not hire who they do not want to hire for any reasons.

This is about to change:

“Gay rights advocates from both parties are newly upbeat about the prospects for Senate passage of legislation that would bar employers from discriminating against workers on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.

“The outlook for the Employment Non-Discrimination Act reflects the nation’s growing tolerance of homosexuality and the GOP’s political calculation as it looks for supporters beyond its core base of older voters.”

The long arm of the EEOC is getting longer. Employers are losing more of the ownership of their businesses. Now companies will be forced to hire people who engage in unnatural, irrational, and immoral behavior.

Things have gotten so bad that “two West Point graduates were married Saturday in the military academy’s first wedding between two men.”
