“Anti-Crist” Ted Cruz Takes on Political Establishment in Gridiron Event Speech
No, that’s not a misspelling. “Anti-Crist” is Ted Cruz’s description of himself. Brilliant. He called himself the “Anti-Crist” at the annual Gridiron Club event. Politico‘s Mike Allen said that Ted Cruz, “crushed his speech – even Dems said he knocked it out of the park.”
We need more “anti-Crists” like Ted Cruz and more anti-McConnell’s who wants to “crush” the Tea Party, and anti-McCains who wants Cruz and other non-RINOs to apologize for being an anti-Democrat.
Crist is the “Republican-turned-independent-turned-Democrat . . . Florida gubernatorial candidate” who said in a CNN interview, “God bless” President Obama for Obamacare.
With the majority of Americans opposing the Affordable Care Act, more people without healthcare today than in 2008, PolitiFact.com reporting that Obama’s promise that “If you like your health care plan, you can keep it” as the “lie of the year,” and millions of Americans getting cancellation notices, Crist is 100% behind the President and ObamaCare.
“Obama’s ideas on health care were first offered as general outlines then grew into specific legislation over the course of his presidency. Yet Obama never adjusted his rhetoric to give people a more accurate sense of the law’s real-world repercussions, even as fact-checkers flagged his statements as exaggerated at best.”
Then there’s the more important aspect of Crist’s blind-eyed support of ObamaCare. It’s an anti-freedom program like so much of what is passed by both houses of Congress. The costs are going to sky rocket while the care plummets and more of our freedoms are lost.
Democrats have been able to lie with impunity because the media refuse to call him on his lies. They’re in the tank for Obama like they will be in the tank for Hillary.
Harry Reid almost got away with his notoriously false claim that “Despite all that good news, there’s plenty of horror stories being told. All of them are untrue, but they’re being told all over America.”
In the good old days of liberal media monopoly, Reid could have gotten away with this barefaced lie. Here’s the truth that Reid and Crist don’t want Americans to know:
“While President Barack Obama stated the Affordable Care Act would lower premiums for a family of four by $2,500, this hasn’t been the case. On the HealthCare.gov website, deductibles are averaging $5,081 per year for the minimal-coverage Bronze plans. For some households, deductibles may be as high as $12,700 annually, the Wall Street Journal reported.”
It’s important that we work overtime to rid our nation of the Crists, McConnells, and McCains. The Democrats are always going to be an opposition party. We don’t need an opposition wing within the Republican Party that sides with the Democrats or that refuses to oppose Democrat policies.
