1,600 Job Applicants for 36 Jobs Evidence of Obama’s Economic Policy Failure

“Thanks to persistent unemployment and low availability of low-skill jobs,” Ben Shapiro writes, “Shenandoah Family Farms’ ice cream plant in Hagerstown, Maryland has received over 1,600 applicants for a grand total of 36 jobs.”

How is it possible that with nearly a trillion (fake) dollars (it may be more) pumped into the economy and bailouts that economy is still in bad shape.

Yes, the Stock Market is up, but it’s mostly the result of the Federal Reserve pumping billions of dollars into a very narrow slice of the economy. It’s not that some industries aren’t doing well; it’s that not enough of them are.

Then there’s the extension of unemployment benefits. If the economy is doing so well, why are so many people in the long-term unemployment benefits line?will work for food

This is from the Washington Post:

“WITH THE surprising support of six Republicans, the Senate on Tuesday mustered the 60 votes necessary to proceed on extending emergency unemployment benefits for an additional three months, at a cost of $6.5 billion. This is good news for the 1.3 million unemployed workers who have been laid off so long that they have exhausted their unemployment insurance. It is also good news for another roughly 1.9 million at risk of exhausting their benefits later this year.”

Of course, Republicans who do not support the extension are made out to be the bad guys.

Instead of blaming Republicans, the Post and other liberals should be blaming themselves for the bad economic policies they enact and support.

The following is an indictment on OmamaNomics: unemployed workers “have been laid off so long that they have exhausted their unemployment insurance” and it’s “also good news for another roughly 1.9 million at risk of exhausting their benefits later this year.” We’re way beyond the Blame Bush strategy that has been the mainstay of the Obama administration talking points. “So long” seems to mitigate the blame.

(Rumors have it that Hillary Clinton will be running on Bill’s record. Bill blamed George H. W. Bush, so I suspect the blame game will continue.)

So according to the Washington Post, there’s no end in sight for the unemployment problem in this nation that is the direct result of Obama’s socialist policies that are doing a great job in tackling  “income inequality.”

If he’s successful, we’ll all have income equality. We’ll all be poor.

Continued unemployment pay is empirical evidence that Obama’s policies are unhealthy and counterproductive.

While the unemployed wait for their checks and jobs, the Obamas take off for a two-week Hawaiian vacation at the expense of the taxpayers.
