What’s Really Happening in Iran that We’re Not Being Told

No country is perfect. The Shah was not a perfect leader and neither were the Mullahs who turned Iran into an oppressive hell hole. But that’s what Islam does. The people don’t convert to Islam; Islam is forced upon them.

My friend Jerry Bowyer, an economist, author, and columnist who writes for several periodicals and the Affluent Investor, had this to say about the protests:

Iranian resistance is not just about rejection of dictatorship of the Mullahs, but also about how Islam is a foreign system which is used to impose Arab culture on Persia and other captive peoples. Islamists have been able to position themselves as an anti-imperial force. Nonsense, it is an imperialism of Arabism over every other culture it has engulfed and it is an imperialism of the 7th century over every century afterwards. Anyone who has studied history seriously knows that. But what we are learning this week is that the Iranians who are rising up know that as well. I also find it very encouraging that these groups are looking back to Cyrus the Great, the Persian emperor who was praised in the Bible for granting religious freedom to the Jews and releasing them from captivity, and sending them back to Israel to rebuild their temple. If you’re looking for non-Jewish role models in the history of the region, you could do a lot worse than Cyrus.

God describes Cyrus as “His anointed” (Isa, 45:1). The following is a full telling of what Cyrus the Persian did:

Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he sent a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying: “Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, ‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and He has appointed me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all His people, may his God be with him! Let him go up to Jerusalem which is in Judah and rebuild the house of the Lord, the God of Israel; He is the God who is in Jerusalem. Every survivor, at whatever place he may live, let the men of that place support him with silver and gold, with goods and cattle, together with a freewill offering for the house of God which is in Jerusalem'” (Ezra 1:4; also 2 Chron. 36:22-23).

What many people do not know that there is a large Persian population in the Middle East. Their ancestry goes back nearly 3000 years, long before Islam arose and began its conquering crusade. You see, there are two Irans, “and the lesser known one to most Americans is undergoing a renaissance that the ruling Iranian mullahs fear the most. If the Persians are awakened to their identity as children of Cyrus the Great, who wrote mankind’s first charter of human rights, these oppressive regimes will topple domino-style. Besides Iran, the Persian heritage is embedded in Iraq and Afghanistan, and were it to be rekindled, a revolution unheard of in scope could occur.”

Babak Iran, an Iranian dissident, had this to say about the festering hostilities felt by the Persian people living in Iran:

I can tell you that Iranians are infuriated with the message [then Pres. Obama gave in 2009], as am I. Iranians do not think that the Islamic regime of Iran is their government. They look at it as an occupying army of Muslim killers determined to destroy what Muhammad and his killers could not do for 1400 years. The mullahs have done all they can to prevent people from celebrating the norooz and a dozen other celebrations such as Charshanbeh soori (the fire festival) for the last 30 years. They hate and try to destroy the Iranian culture, like they did in all other previously known Muslim countries. But the more they try to stop the many celebrations in Iran the more the people resist.

“To say ‘Iranian election’ like the western media does is an intellectual crime against the Iranian people. The prerequisite of an election is the freedom for people to choose their candidates and not a handful of fascistic Mullahs. (JewishWorldReview)

Pres. Trump is trying to undo the mess that former Pres. Obama made in his dealings with the Iranian self-imposed leadership. alicia Colon concludes her must-read article with these words: “President Trump has indicated that he may withdraw from any deal his predecessor made with the mullahs and that is a clear sign to the beautiful Iranian people that hope is in the cards for them once again. The restoration of the Persian Empire in Iran would truly be monumental and a renaissance that was doomed by Obama should be welcomed and endorsed by the Trump administration.”

The media are suppressing this story in order to protect Obama’s legacy, no matter what the cost to what’s left of their integrity.
