Never Apologize to a ‘Rage Mob’

Never apologize to anyone if you didn’t do anything wrong, especially if you think it will gain you favor in a political dispute. Consider Mario Lopez’s comments about “transgenderism” in a recent interview with conservative pundit Candace Owens:

“My God, if you’re three years old and you’re saying you’re feeling a certain way and think you’re a boy or a girl, or whatever the case may be … I think it’s dangerous, as a parent, to make that determination.”

Of course, it’s dangerous. It’s insane! In any other time, it would be considered child abuse.

Sure enough, like clockwork, Lopez apologized. He should have played the race card. “The reason I’m being attacked is because I’m a ‘person of color.'” Lopez is of Mexican descent (from Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico). Of course, this only works if you’re a Leftist.

  • “Mario buckled to the mob,” said radio host ‘Charlamagne tha God’ on “The Breakfast Club.” “Mario Lopez said nothing wrong. We’re talking about a 3-year-old child. What logical decision can a child make at 3? You should not make that determination at 3. Let the kid grow up.”
  • Kristy Swanson, who was the star of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” said she was disappointed that Lopez decided to apologize. “I have to say to @MarioLopezExtra I am sad to hear you apologized for doing nothing wrong,” Swanson tweeted. “Like a good smart pal of mine says… ‘Never bend a knee to the rage mob. Ever.'” (The Blaze)

Instead, he demonstrated weakness. He should have taken on the critics like Pres. Trump does.

You don’t see Chick-fil-A apologizing to the homosexual rage mob.

The following clip is from the 1949 film She Wore a Yellow Ribbon starring John Wayne:

Parents often make the mistake of forcing their children to apologize for something their child never did in order to keep the peace. This might work on the playground, but it almost never works when so-called “Progressives” are involved.

An apology is required when we do something wrong. Consider the following from the Apostle Paul. He is brought before the Jewish council to offer a defense. Paul, speaking directly to the Council, said, “Brethren, I have lived my life with a perfectly good conscience before God up to this day” (Acts 23:1).

He didn’t make an accusation. He stated a fact.

The high priest Ananias commanded those standing beside him to strike him on the mouth. Then Paul said to him, “God is going to strike you, you whitewashed wall! Do you sit to try me according to the Law, and in violation of the Law order me to be struck?” Then Paul said to him, “God is going to strike you, you whitewashed wall! Do you sit to try me according to the Law, and in violation of the Law order me to be struck?” But the bystanders said, “Do you revile God’s high priest?” And Paul said, “I was not aware, brethren, that he was high priest; for it is written, ‘YOU SHALL NOT SPEAK EVIL OF A RULER OF YOUR PEOPLE'” [Ex. 22:28] (23:2-5).

Paul was quoting from Ezekiel 13:1-16, a passage that was an indictment of the generation that would be overtaken by the Babylonians. In a similar way, the generation of Paul’s day would be struck by the Romans, God’s agent of judgment (Matt. 24:34). The temple would be destroyed and the priesthood and religious and political establishments would be scattered like dust.

Paul before the Jewish Council.

Even in this situation, Paul did not apologize. Instead, he took advantage of the situation by creating a division among the various Jewish factions that were present (23:6-10).

If you have to go through life apologizing to people who have no regard for your integrity, then you are a slave to other people.
