You may recall that the Defense Department reclassified the Fort Hood massacre as “workplace violence.” We know that Maj. Hassan​ shouted “Allahu Akbar” (Arabic for “God is Great”) after firing a total of 214 rounds at his fellow soldiers. When the shooting ended, he was still carrying 177 rounds of ammunition in his pockets, contained in both 20- and 30-round magazines.

At least the story got a lot of press time and few people really believe that the Muslim Hassan killed these defenseless soldiers because of workplace stress. We all know that the reason was even if this administration most likely sent word down that the massacre had to be redefined in order to mollify the Muslim world.

There was another story that got very little press a few months ago. And even when the story was reported, it was short and carried a minimal amount of information. Did you even see it? Here’s what I found in a Chicago Tribune article. What follows is the entire article:

A man who was angry that his family would not go along with his conversion to Islam was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday in the slayings of his mother, pregnant wife, infant son and two nieces in a rampage last year on the South Side.

James A. Larry, 33, of Madison, Wis., pleaded guilty last month to multiple counts of murder, attempted murder and the intentional homicide of an unborn child.

That’s it. Other accounts of the murders buried the Muslim connection deep in the article. Here’s one I found. “Family members previously said Larry had converted to Islam several years ago while serving time in federal prison. Family members also said he had a dispute with Thompson because she would not adhere to the Muslim faith.”

Prosecutors said Larry came to Chicago in April 2010 bent on slaughtering his family because he felt “disrespected” that they would not join his Islamic religion.

Thompson had named his 7-month-old son, Jihad.

You and I know that if Larry had been a Christian, this story would have been plastered on the front page of every newspaper and would still be cited by liberal pundits of the dangers of Christianity.
