Media More Outraged Over Botched Execution than Torture and Murder

Clayton Lockett murdered Stephanie Neiman 15 years ago. He was given the death penalty. There was no doubt that he had murdered her. During the execution process, the drugs used to execute him for his heinous murder went terribly wrong. It took him 30 minutes to die.

Lockett wanted Stephanie’s truck.

Neiman was dropping off a friend at a Perry residence on June 3, 1999, the same evening Clayton Lockett and two accomplices decided to pull a home invasion robbery there. Neiman fought Lockett when he tried to take the keys to her truck.

The men beat her and used duct tape to bind her hands and cover her mouth. Even after being kidnapped and driven to a dusty country road, Neiman didn’t back down when Lockett asked if she planned to contact police.

The men had also beaten and kidnapped Neiman’s friend along with Bobby Bornt, who lived in the residence, and Bornt’s 9-month-old baby.

Neiman was forced to watch as Lockett’s accomplice, Shawn Mathis, spent 20 minutes digging a shallow grave in a ditch beside the road. Her friends saw Neiman standing in the ditch and heard a single shot.
Lockett returned to the truck because the gun had jammed. He later said he could hear Neiman pleading, “Oh God, please, please” as he fixed the shotgun.

The men could be heard “laughing about how tough Stephanie was” before Lockett shot Neiman a second time.

“He ordered Mathis to bury her, despite the fact that Mathis informed him Stephanie was still alive.”

The news media can’t let go of this story. You should read some of these stories to see how much time is devoted to this murder’s 43 minutes of suffering even though he’s been alive for 19 years after burying Stephanie alive in a shallow grave.

Lockett’s “crimes were so shocking, even his own step-mum thought he should be executed.”

Now they’re saying that “Oklahoma prison guards Tasered a defiant Clayton Lockett . . . and a medical technician had trouble finding a suitable vein for the lethal drugs that eventually killed him. . .” Defiant and hard to control people who haven’t murdered anybody are Tasered all the time. Remember “Don’t tase me bro”?

I’m all for executions to take place quickly. We used to have firing squads and hangings. It’s the bleeding heart liberals that have called for “painless and human executions” by using a drug cocktail. The person being executed is actually given a sedative so he won’t feel any pain.

Maybe these executioners should take some lessons from people who overdose on drugs. They seem to die quickly and without pain. Prisons should hire some druggies to do the job. It would give them some purpose in their life.

The media should investigate the execution-style killing of Miriam Carey. If you don’t remember her, she was killed by U.S. Capitol Police on October 3, 2013. “An autopsy report, made public six months after Miriam Carey was shot dead after leading Washington police on a car chase from the White House to the Capitol, revealed that the 34-year-old woman was struck by five bullets from behind.” The claim is being made that it was justified no matter how gruesome the outcome.

The same can be said for the execution of Clayton Lockett.
