As I predicted in 2013, 2014 turned out to be a great year for the Tea Party. Conservatives didn’t get everything they wanted. We’re still stuck with John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, but we’ve added some good people to the ranks of the GOP. We’ll know very soon if the can hold the line against political power temptation.

The latest victory came in Louisiana over the weekend. Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D-La.) got crushed in a runoff election. Her Republican opponent, Rep. Bill Cassidy, embraced the Tea Party, and it paid off big time.

Now everybody is gearing up for 2016, so it’s to be expected that Hillary Clinton’s name is beginning to come up as the Democrat front runner, and Republicans are linking her to the Democrat’s sinking ship:

“On the heels of Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D-La.) crushing loss in Louisiana Senate, Republicans were quick to tie her defeat to the Democratic Party’s heir apparent: Hillary Clinton.

“Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus crowed that Louisianans had ‘rejected the Democrat agenda and the Obama-Clinton policies that have produced higher healthcare costs and job-killing regulations.’

“Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a likely Republican presidential contender in 2016, also sought to hang the loss around Clinton, the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination.”

I believe a lot of voters voted against Landrieu because she reminded them of Hillary. She even looks like the former First Lady.

Some Democrats are getting restless as Newsmax reported last year: “President Obama — already under fire from Republicans over his healthcare law — now is catching flak from Democrats concerned about the rocky rollout of the insurance program and voters who may turn their frustrations against them in the midterms.”

Landrieu voted for ObamaCare, an extension of HillaryCare that even Democrats are beginning to run away from. You know there’s desperation on the Democrat camp when Chuck Schumer admits that the Affordable Care Act was a mistake.

We’re reading that support for Hillary Clinton has been dropping for some time. Her “net favorability” number has “fallen an astounding 18 points since the start of the year.” This happened when she has been mostly out of the public eye. Once she starts sounding like the nag she is and gets peppered with hard-to-answer questions on Benghazi and other subjects, her popularity could drop even more.

While it was a minor incident last year, Mrs. Clinton was interrupted during a speech she was giving at the University of Buffalo by an angry heckler who blamed her for the deaths of four Americans at the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi. “‘Benghazi, Benghazi, you let them die,’ the heckler screamed, for fully 40 seconds while Mrs. Clinton tried to ignore it and continue her speech, The Daily Mail reported.”

A recent congressional report is being cited that argues that there were no security lapses. Hillary might claim that the bipartisan report means Benghazi is “case closed.” “But the findings also drew complaints from survivors,” Fox News reports, “who testified behind closed doors, and caused deep divisions on the committee itself ahead of the report’s release. Critical lawmakers wished to remain anonymous due to fear of blowback from Republican leadership.”

Of course, if the establishment GOP puts up Mitt Romney again or any Bush, we could get Hillary Clinton.

It’s a little scary when Jeb Bush’s brother, George, describes Bill Clinton as his “brother from another mother” and Hillary as “my sister-in-law.”

God, please save us from the GOP Establishment and Hillary.
