Liberal Democrat Describes US Senator as ‘Black Only in Skin Color’

For all their talk about race, institutional racism, and black voter suppression, Democrats have never elected or appointed a black Senator from a southern state.

According to liberals, neither have Republicans, not even Tim Scott who was appointed by Gov. Nikki Haley to fill the South Carolina Senate seat Sen. Jim DeMint will vacate in January. Scott is a duly elected member of the House of Representatives in South Carolina. And if you haven’t figured it out yet; Scott is black.

You would think that everybody would be happy with the appointment of Scott to fill the remainder of DeMint’s term. Democrats can’t be happy because the appointment of a black man to the United States Senate does not fit the narrative that the Republican Party is the party of racism.

Sure enough, the anti-racist racists have declared that Tim Scott is not really a black man. He’s a white man in permanent black face.

Amos Brown, a radio host on a religious radio station in Indianapolis, Indiana, tweeted that while Scott claims to be African American, he’s not a real black man.

Brown wrote, “Gee, courtesy of S Carolina GOP, the nation gets Tim Scott an ultra-rightwing, Tea Party devotee US Senator who’s Black only in skin color.”

Mr. Brown passes himself off as “a man of God.” Of what god, we’re not sure.

Mr. Brown’s comments about the appointment of Rep. Scott are a prime indicator of what many conservative Republicans have said about the black vote. Nearly 95 percent of blacks vote for Democrats. When blacks are given the chance to vote for a black Republican, most Democrats will not do it. We saw it in Georgia when Herman Cain ran for the Senate. We saw it in Utah when Mia Love ran for a congressional seat. The same thing was true in Florida when Allen West was up for re-election.

It’s only a certain type of black candidate that will get a Democrat’s vote, and this includes black Democrats. The blacks who are in office are in the perpetual welfare business. They know they will always have a job and a fat pension as long as there are poor people dependent on them.

It’s important that we understand how liberals think. They are not Communists. Tom Bethell writes in “Fifty Years in America”:

“Communists wanted to kill off capitalism, for example, but liberals know it must be preserved – in a highly taxed and regulated form. It must be permitted to create sufficient wealth to redistribute to favored groups – single mothers, minorities, college professors – if the system is to keep Democrats in office. Liberals want market outcomes to be ‘predictable.’ Appeals to envy and blame heaped on the rich can also be used as a bludgeon, as Obama has shown. . . .”

The main reason Amos Brown doesn’t like Tim Scott is because Scott will pull the curtain to reveal there is no Welfare Wizard but only a Welfare Thief.
