Attacks on Conservatives are Coming from Everywhere to Keep Obama in Office

In an earlier article I noted that the new film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter looks like it might be subtle attack on conservatives by comparing them to vampires who advocate a ‘states’ rights’ position.

Everywhere we go these days conservatives are under attack in less than subtle ways. Have you heard that SWAT teams have been sent to the homes of conservative bloggers?

Swatting is the practice of generating a phony 9-1-1 call that spoofs a victim’s telephone number (impersonating the victim) and draws a SWAT team typically expecting to find a crime scene at the their residence.

Erick Erickson of RedState.com is the latest victim. Here’s how he describes what happened:

Tonight, my family was sitting around the kitchen table eating dinner when sheriff’s deputies pulled up in the driveway. Someone called 911 from my address claiming there had been an accidental shooting. . . . Luckily it was two sheriff’s deputies who knew me and I had already, last week, advised the Sheriff’s Department to be on the lookout for something like this.

There is the daily barrage of attacks from bloggers, mainstream news outlets, failure to report stories that are unfavorable to Obama and the Democrats, downplaying the Wisconsin recall election, and the usual irrational fury that comes from people like Bill Maher, Rachel Maddow, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Ed Shultz, Thom Hartmann, Randi Rhodes, Mike Malloy, and others.

The latest attack is coming from the producers of the TV show True Blood. Not content to fill the show with bloody pornography, a new storyline will take on the church-state debate. Creator Ball told Entertainment Weekly.

“My first instinct about going into religion and politics was from watching Michele Bachmann, who thinks she has a direct line to God. What would happen if she became president? A lot of right-wingers would like to see a theocracy in America. From there we thought, ‘What would a vampire theocracy be and how would you justify it? What kind of impact would it have on humans?’”

We already have a theocracy in America. It’s called liberalism where the State is viewed as a vampire god, draining the economic lifeblood out of all of us. Their sacrament is the bloody business of abortion “and Roe v. Wade is Holy Writ,” as Ann Coulter writes in her book Godless.
