Are transracial black women to be treated differently from natural-born black women?

That’s the question playing out on the Internet today. A blonde German model named Martina Big transformed herself into a black woman. This is now creating tension between different liberal groups. In theory, in this modern progressive era of “name-it-and-claim-it” gender-racial identity, a natural-born black woman should be treated no differently from a transracial black woman.

THEORY VS PRACTICE

But in reality, that’s not how things are playing out. Liberal gossip blogger Perez Hilton reports:

Earlier this month, German glamour model Martina Big posted a video on Facebook of herself (below) in Los Angeles where she proclaims:

“Last time I visited this with blonde hair and white skin – and now I’m a black woman with African hair.”
As documented on social media, she has drastically changed her appearance in order to appear darker.

The ex-air hostess claims her “transformation” — which includes having tanning injections and using a 50-tube sunbed — occurred seven months ago.

As seen on Instagram, the change is quite drastic:

Last month, she met “with an African hairdresser” and “got a hair extension with curly, African hair.” Her next step is to “have consultations for the butt enlargement” to match her size 32S breasts. Reportedly, Martina has spent $58,000 on plastic surgery since 2012.

Perez Hilton is not excited about this development. Neither is an executive for the Race Equality Foundation:

“It’s a very sad and disappointing situation really if people assume it’s just skin colour that makes you black… She has a very limited understanding of what it means to be black or an ethnic minority today, and the challenges faced… She has a very stilted understanding of what it means to be black – you have to worry about her and the people she surrounds herself with her… Her story distracts from the problems black people are truly facing today.”

The outcry from social media has been just as angry. Consider these social media reports that The Sun reported:

Alesia Roberts commented: “I’m offended. She gets praised for changing her skin colour to look black. Meanwhile, little black girls are being teased because of their skin colour.”

Seana Paige wrote: “This is despicable, disgusting and disrespectful!”

Another angry user said: “I’m not pleased or supporting this mess. I’m a black woman as you can see and I don’t think this is cool. It’s sad. It’s pitiful. I think she may have mental issues.”

MENTAL ISSUES

Did you catch that — “mental issues.” Can you imagine if a white man, following Bruce Jenner’s transformation into Caitlyn Jenner, said that Jenner had mental issues? Or even if a white woman said that? Those kinds of remarks are off-limits in the liberal media.

Blacks are outraged by this woman’s audacity. They were similarly outraged when Rachel Dolezal claimed to be transracial earlier this year. Transgender and transracial are different, critics argue. No white person can ever fully understand what it’s like living as a black person.

But why doesn’t this same argument apply to transgender people like Bruce Jenner?

Will Bruce Jenner ever know what it’s like to be cat-called by grown men as a teenaged girl? Will he ever experience what it’s like to not get a job because he’s more qualified than the hiring manager, who’s a man, and whose delicate ego is threatened by him?

Will Bruce Jenner ever get to experience having an abortion?

He can be a woman (sort of). But he can’t have the experience of having been a woman. This is the same argument made against transracial people, but it is not used against transgender people. That’s because the liberal media protects the transgender agenda.
