House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) . . . described herself as a “lioness” when it comes to protecting children. She was describing her attitude toward the plight of illegal immigrants invading our southern border.

Of course, her “lioness” ethic does not extend to children in the womb:

“Nancy Pelosi accepted Planned Parenthood’s highest honor – the Margaret Sanger Award – at their annual gala. Now, that’s enough to make most people’s blood boil.

“Sanger – the founder of Planned Parenthood – was a racist eugenicist who called African Americans, immigrants and the poor ‘human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ‘spawning … human beings who never should have been born.’”

If Pelosi is a lioness about illegal immigrant children, then why doesn’t she put up some of these children in her home? Nancy Pelosi and her husband are multimillionaires. They own Napa vineyards and a winery worth more than $25 million. She could put these illegals to work. Isn’t this what amnesty all about? Cheap employment.

“The multi-millionaire investors own a large stake in an exclusive resort hotel in Wine Country, the Napa Valley Auberge Du Soleil Resort. It has more than 250 employees. But none of them are in a union, according to Peter Schweizer, author of ‘Do As I Say, (Not As I Do) – The Hypocrisy of Democrats’ and a regular contributor to the New York Times.

“Pelosi is also partners in a restaurant chain called Piatti, which has 900 employees. The chain is – you might have guessed — a non-union shop. It is a very high-end restaurant group with locations in Carmel, Sonoma and Danville to name just the locations I dined at. Hardwood-fired ovens, exhibition kitchens, Napa wines, a very nice experience. I did notice some Hispanic kitchen help and busboys. I’m wondering if they are illegal aliens? No, the Speaker of the House wouldn’t hire illegals, would she?”

 “As you probably know by now, that when it comes to the children from my standpoint, I’m like a lioness,” she said. “Just don’t mess with the children, okay?”

Okay, Nancy, put up or shut up. Open your house, vineyard, winery, and restaurants to them. You’re net worth is estimated to be anywhere from $26 to $100 million.

“Pelosi also stressed that the illegals crossing at the Southwest U.S. border was ‘not a question of the border not being secure’ because ‘the children are turning themselves in,’ and that she cares about the children and ‘about them going home.’  Also, said the former House Speaker, ‘I care about securing the border.’”

She cares as much about the border as she does unborn babies.

All Pelosi sees is future Democrat voters and cheap labor to work in her vineyards and restaurants and maybe yard work around her house at a discounted price.

Instead of dipping into our already depleted Treasury, why don’t she and her husband donate a few millions to take care of the needs of these poor unfortunates.
