I was driving along, listening to the radio, when I heard President Obama condemn rich folks for sending their children to non-government (private) schools.

 We don’t dispute that the free market is the greatest producer of wealth in history — it has lifted billions of people out of poverty. We believe in property rights, rule of law, so forth. But there have always been trends in the market in which concentrations of wealth can lead to some being left behind. And what’s happened in our economy is that those who are doing better and better — more skilled, more educated, luckier, having greater advantages — are withdrawing from sort of the commons — kids start going to private schools; kids start working out at private clubs instead of the public parks. An anti-government ideology then disinvests from those common goods and those things that draw us together. And that, in part, contributes to the fact that there’s less opportunity for our kids, all of our kids.

President Obama gets some things right: “[T]he free market is the greatest producer of wealth in history — it has lifted billions of people out of poverty. We believe in property rights, rule of law, so forth.” He should have built on these truths. Instead, he plows the ground for more failed government intervention.

The reason people “disinvest” from these so-called “common goods” is that they are not good as we’ve seen in cities like Detroit and Baltimore. Why would a business want to set up shop in places where there’s a good chance it might get burned to the ground and where “fifty people have been shot in Baltimore following the riots that started April 28, an average of three to four shot per day”?

President Obama must have forgotten that he sends his daughters to a non-government (private) school. The hypocrisy of liberals knows no bounds.

He’s not alone:

[Rahm] Emanuel, who served in the White House as President Obama’s chief of staff for a few years, and his wife have chosen, according to a local radio station CBS News 2 in Chicago, to send their three children to the prestigious University of Chicago Laboratory Schools in Hyde Park.

It’s the same school that President Obama’s daughters attended when they lived in Chicago. Sasha and Malia Obama now attend the private Sidwell Friends School.

Liberals are hypocrites. They talk about a war on women and then attack women like Sarah Palin and Carly Fiorina because they are not liberal women.

Some liberals have said that they are voting for Hillary Clinton just because she’s a woman. Campus Reform headed to Seattle, Wash., and asked several college students if they were “ready for Hillary” and why they would vote for her. “She’s a woman, and that’s literally all.”  Another woman said, “Because it’s time we have a female president.”

These are some types of people who voted for Barack Obama because he is black, Samuel L. Jackson, for example. “I voted for Barack because he was black. ’Cause that’s why other folks vote for other people — because they look like them,” Jackson said, according to the New York Post.

Liberals claim that conservatives are racists, but when a black person comes out as a conservative, he or she is an “Oreo,” black on the outside but white on the inside (Stacey Dash), or an Uncle Tom (Colin Powell) or Aunt Jemima (Condoleezza Rice).

Liberal Hollywood actors who push the Global Warming agenda are some of the biggest carbon polluters. Let’s not forget the green lawn water scandal in California. While touting their supposed green worldview, they keep their lawns green while California suffers a water crisis.

Liberals believe they are above the fray. They are too important to have to live like like regular folks.
