Obama delegate Gloria Allred is trying to dig up dirt on Mitt Romney in order to sabotage his presidential election. The Romney campaign has the right attitude: “Whatever.”

“Robert Jones, an attorney at the Boston law firm of Ropes & Gray, who is representing Romney in this matter told TIME in a statement, ‘This is a decades-old divorce case in which Mitt Romney provided testimony as to the value of a company. He has no objection to letting the public see that testimony.’”

I have to give the Romney people credit. They are trying to stay presidential. There’s a story circulating that when Obama was a college student he used and sold cocaine. The story was shopped around. The Romney people were approached. They declined to get involved. Good for them.

I want to win an election on principles not on “the politics of personal destruction,” especially when a story is more than 20-years old.

While I’m not a birther, I do wonder why President Obama has not released his college records. They are not sealed. Colleges and universities cannot release a student’s transcripts unless the student gives his or her permission. The Obama administration, at least Democratic surrogates like Harry Reid, have been pressuring Mitt Romney to release a decade of federal tax returns even. Gloria, why don’t you work to try and get Sen. Reid to release his tax returns so we can see how he became a multimillionaire?

But back to President Obama. There are students at Columbia University who don’t recall him as a student. Consider this statement from Wayne Allyn Root who graduated the same year as Barack Obama, and even shared the same major as the future president.

“I was a pretty connected guy. I knew a lot of people. I knew pretty much everyone, I thought, in the Political Science Department. I never met him. I never saw him. I never heard of him. No one that I know at Columbia ever met him, ever heard of him or ever saw him. It’s strange. It’s mysterious. It doesn’t mean he didn’t go there, by the way. I’m sure he went there, but he was probably busy smoking pot and attending socialist meetings. What can I tell you?”

Surely Gloria could dig into Root’s assertion to find out if it’s true. The problem is, Allred is an Obama surrogate. She’s a DNC delegate and partisan Democrat. She attended the “30 Days to Victory” Obama fundraiser at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on October 7^th of this year. She’s not concerned about justice for her climates; she’s all about her very liberal worldview.
