Any time some celebrity (like Jeremy Irons) makes a negative comment about homosexuality and so-called gay marriage, the gay war machine goes into action. “Danger! Danger! Someone has spoken against the gay narrative. Danger! Danger! Troops report for duty. Bring him back for retraining. We must get his mind right. Use all appropriate action. The dome of respectability is being breached.”

When the word gets out that if an apology is not forthcoming, the person who has spoken against the gay high command will pay a heavy price for defection. He may never work again.

So let’s see how long it takes for Academy Award winning actor Jeremy Irons to apologize for stating the following about interfamily sexual relationships:

“Could a father not marry his son?” Irons asked HuffPost Live host Josh Zepps. Irons argued that “it’s not incest between men” because “incest is there to protect us from inbreeding, but men don’t breed,” and wondered whether same-sex marriage might allow fathers to pass on their estates to their sons without being taxed.

“It seems to me that now they’re fighting for the name,” Irons said of advocates for same-sex marriage as opposed to civil unions. “I worry that it means somehow we debase, or we change, what marriage is. I just worry about that.”

I have to say, I’m impressed. These are questions the media won’t let people ask. Since most Americans aren’t very healthy thinkers. They can’t reason beyond the next TV reality show.

So it’s easy to pass off homosexuality and same-sex marriage as about equal rights and love.

There is not a single law on the books that denies anybody the right to love anybody or anything.

As to equality, laws against homosexual marriage apply to everybody.

But once we follow the arguments of the pro-homosexual marriage community, there is nothing to stop other groups, no matter how small and initially repugnant to moral sensibilities, to make the same claim that homosexuals are making. This was the point Dr. Ben Carson had made about bestiality and pedophilia. Group rights do not exist. Those who engage in same-sex sex are a manufactured group. As a group, they do not have standing before the law.

The typical response from the pro-homosexual marriage crowd is, “Well, that just won’t happen.” Maybe not today, but who says that in 20 years the original meaning of marriage will be so hybridized that we will no longer recognize the original.

I disagree with Iron’s on the incest issue. With genetic tests, a father and daughter could engage in consensual sex and/or get married, with no fear of bringing a genetically flawed child into the world. The baby could be easily aborted.

The question remains: Will Jeremy Irons be called on to “clarify” his comments, apologize for his “insensitivity,” or will he take a firm stand and tell the homosexual bullies to, well, you know.
