Here’s What Obama Did While Pro-Gay Judge Sent Kim Davis to Jail

While Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who is following the Kentucky Constitution that prohibits same-sex marriage, was sent to jail by pro-homosexual U.S. District Court Judge David Bunning (enthusiastically supported by Mitch McConnell), President Obama was making up new laws and forcing us to pay for men wanting to become women and women wanting to become men:

“The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced a planned new regulation Thursday that will require health insurers participating in Obamacare to cover more health procedures sought by the transgendered.

“The new rule applies to every health insurer offering plans through Healthcare.gov or any of the state-run Obamacare insurance exchanges. It declares that insurers are prohibited from engaging in discrimination not only on the basis of sex, but also on the basis of gender identity.

“In the past, several health insurance plans have categorically excluded health care related to transitioning between genders, often on the grounds that such procedures are often cosmetic, not medically necessary, and elective in nature. Now, such categorical bans will be disallowed, and insurers will have to cover many of the procedures.”

It’s not surprising that liberals have no problem making up laws and forcing us to pay for them while violating laws when it suits their agenda.

Lawlessness was the name of the game when California voters voted to outlaw same-sex marriage in the infamous Proposition 8 ballot measure:

“Davis’s arrest was met with cheers by same-sex marriage advocates who for some reason did not demand imprisonment of officials who lawlessly issued gay marriage licenses in clear contravention of state and federal laws. Take, for example, Democrat  who is currently the California lieutenant governor. Back in 2004, when gay marriage was banned under California state law, Newsom openly defied the law and used his power as the mayor of San Francisco to force taxpayer-funded government clerks to issue gay marriage licenses.”

More than 3000 same-sex couples violated the law, and not one of them was fined or went to prison. This says nothing of the clerks who issued them marriage licenses. “Just like Kim Davis, who is an elected Democrat, Newsom justified his lawlessness by citing his own conscience and beliefs about right and wrong rather than deferring to the actual laws of his state.”

Why wasn’t anything done to Tonya Parker, a black, openly lesbian Texas judge who refused “to conduct straight-couple marriage ceremonies in her state until same-sex couples can wed?

Here’s something from North Carolina:

“More than 30 North Carolina magistrates so far have refused to perform weddings since the U.S. Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriages in all 50 states.

“But they’re not likely to suffer the fate of Kim Davis, the Tennessee county clerk who was recently jailed for her refusal. It turns out that taking this position is legal in North Carolina, according to CBN.com.”

Most of today’s judges and governors are afraid of the Gaystapo and their media minions. they bow before the political phallic symbol in order to keep their jobs, be accepted by the cocktail crowd, and stay in office long enough to get their fat pensions.

They never could have signed the Declaration of Independence because it included this line:

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
