Here’s a way to change the world and get paid for it

A good friend of mine owns numerous pre-schools that actually educate children. Children learn to read before they enter the first grade. They are taught a moral worldview based on God’s Word. Their young lives are transformed by the experience.

I have been following Grace Community Schools for more than 20 years. If you or your children would like to be involved in changing the world, here’s a great place to start by working with Grace Community School either through employment or running your own school. The upcoming conference, where I will be one of the speakers, explains what’s involved in being FREE (including lodging and meals):

Grace Community School has been operating successful Christian schools in Southwest Florida for more than thirty years, and their Apprenticeship Program provides on-the-job training and assistance in obtaining credentials for those wanting to start and/or operate Christian schools. Apprentices will learn to run successful and profitable Christian schools with a mind towards financial independence. This is an apprenticeship program, NOT an unpaid internship.

Apprentices receive:

• Free housing (if needed)

• Salary pay (again, this is NOT an unpaid internship!)

• Intensive training in all aspects of operating a successful and profitable Christian school

• Weekly seminary-level theological training at Nicene Covenant Church

• FREE bachelor’s and master’s degree college tuition through Patriot Bible University

The GCS Apprenticeship Program will cover hotel stays and meals for the conference event FREE for attendees. That’s right; this is a free event that includes lodging and meals! If you want to control the world, control the education of the children. The sooner a government can educate children, the sooner it can control them. Education is not neutral. It’s always accompanied by a worldview rooted in some ideology.

As Alexander Pope wrote, “As the twig is bent, so grows the tree.”

When parents turned their children over to the State to be educated, it turned them over to an agency of control. Is it any wonder that there was so much opposition to Betsy DeVos, the new Secretary of Education? The near monopoly of government education was threatened.

The appeal was “free education.” Nothing is free. Everything costs something. What price are parents really paying for free public (government) school education?

Government (public) schools today have outlawed Christianity and prayer and are normalizing and mainstreaming homosexuality and gender fluidity and having parents who oppose such tyranny to pay for it.

Since the early 1960s when prayer and Bible reading were outlawed by the Supreme Court, Christians have been trying to fix the public schools. More than 50 years later, what’s been accomplished? Atheism is the real religion of the government schools. Where children used to be taught that they were created in the image of God and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, today there is no foundational basis for what makes humans special. In addition, instead of our rights coming from God, they now come from government.

What the government gives, it can easily be taken away.

Whoever Controls the Schools Rules the World

The tyrants of history have understood the importance of education. By capturing the youth through education, Adolph Hitler believed that his dreams of a Nazi State could be realized. In Mein Kampf Hitler stressed “the importance of winning over and then training the youth in the service ‘of a new national state.’”1 His words and subsequent actions were a prelude to understanding what the world would have been like had he succeeded. William L. Shire, an eyewitness to the rise of Hitler and the Nazi worldview, offers an objective but chilling prospect of what was in store for Europe and possibly the world:

“When an opponent declares, ‘I will not come over to your side,’ [Hitler] said in a speech on November 6, 1933, “I calmly say, ‘Your child belongs to us already . . . What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.’” And on May 1, 1937, he declared, “This new Reich will give its youth to no one, but will itself take youth and give to youth its own education and its own upbringing.”2

Educational control was taken away from parents and local authorities and “Every person in the teaching profession, from kindergarten through the universities, was compelled to join the National Socialist Teachers’ League which, by law, was held ‘responsible for the execution of the ideological and political co‑ordination of all the teachers in accordance with the National Socialist doctrine.’”3 The State was to be supported “without reservation” and teachers took an oath to “be loyal and obedient to Adolf Hitler.”4

Of course, our nation’s public schools aren’t turning out Nazis. What they are turning out are graduates that can’t think for themselves, who can’t follow a logical argument, believe in moral relativism, and ascent to the belief that wealth confiscation and redistribution are the legitimate roles of the government.
