Guess What Party Engaged in Voter Fraud?
There are lots of news stories about politics where the Party affiliation of the subject of the story is never mentioned. When the story of Jon Corzine story was first reported, it was hard to find out what political party he was affiliated with. As the story grew, it finally came out that he was a Democrat. Corzine, who spent five years on Capitol Hill as a Democrat senator from New Jersey, is involved in something of a money scandal. A Congressional panel has asked Corzine to testify about the downfall of MF Global and the hundreds of millions of dollars in customer money that went missing in the brokerage firm’s final days.
Now we learn that there is voter fraud in Quitman, Georgia. Some of the defendants worked in the voter registrar’s office and some are school board members. But what you won’t be told in the articles that I read is that they are Democrats. They are Angela Bryant, April Proctor, Brenda Monds, Debra Denard, Lula Smart, Kechia Harrison, Robert Denard, Sandra Cody, Elizabeth Thomas, Linda Troutman, Latashia Head, and Nancy Denard.
These suspects face felony charges for unlawful possession of ballots and violating the procedure for voting absentee ballots.
“If you take someone else’s ballot and you go take it and mail it in for them into the registrar you’re illegally possessing that ballot,” said GBI Special Agent in Charge Steve Turner. ”You can only possess your ballot. You cannot possess someone else’s.”
The Valdosta Lowndes County Chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference is involved in their defense.
