Democrat Congresswomen Cry ‘Racism’ and ‘Sexism’

For all their talk about equal rights, equal pay, job parity, and breaking through the glass ceiling, Democrats are the biggest hypocrites. Proof of this can be seen in the way they treat conservative women whether black or white and how they attack any criticism of other Democrat women.

They want to be paid like men but they are not willing to take criticism like men.

The latest hypocrisy coming from the feminist camp is the condemnation of the criticism of Susan Rice, the current Ambassador to the United Nations. Rice is the person who was sent out by the Obama administration to sell the idea that the Benghazi attack was a spontaneous uprising over some obscure anti-Mohammad video that probably only six people had seen. The video-tape cause narrative was a sham from the start. The question is, Did Ambassador Rice know it, and if she did, who told her to use it? Rice is not above criticism because she’s a woman. She’s playing with the big boys, so she needs to take it like the big boys do. If she can’t then she needs to find a different line of work.

In order to protect one of their own, to silence the opposition in an attempt to cover for Ms. Rice from scrutiny that might damage President Obama, Democrat women are attacking Republicans:

“The incoming chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus – Rep. Marcia Fudge, a Democrat from Cleveland – accused Sen. John McCain of ‘sexism and racism’ for criticizing UN Ambassador Susan Rice for going on five Sunday talk shows and claiming the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was a spontaneous reaction to a video posted on YouTube.”

Fudge claimed that “sexism and racism” are the real reason Rice is being attacked. Not to be outdone, Rep. Gwen Moore, another Democrat, “said that McCain and other ‘men’ should not be allowed to ‘attack’ or ‘batter this woman’ Rice.” “Not allowed”? Does she want a law passed? The First Amendment was specifically designed to allow criticism of people in power without legal retaliation.

How many Democrats stood up for Clarence Thomas when he was attacked and battered? I don’t recall any. Where were these Democrat women when Condeleezza Rice and Sarah Palin were repeatedly savaged by their fellow-Democrats?

If Democrat women want equal rights, then they need to stand up and take it like men. It seems that being black and female only count on the upward swing. Once there, being a woman and of a particular race makes a Democrat immune from criticism.

Unfortunately for the Democrats, there’s a Republican senator who has joined with the sexist and racist men in wanting to learn the truth from Susan Rice — New Hampshire Senator Kelly Ayotte. Mary Chastain of Newsbusters comments:

“The media is determined to push the idea that the GOP is waging a war on women. If they included Senator Ayotte in their coverage of the pressure being applied to Ambassador Rice, it would blow their argument out of the water. Senators McCain and Graham can be used to further the media image of the GOP as old, white, out-of-touch males who don’t like women; Senator Ayotte does not.”

If a Democrat woman wants to be paid like a man, then she needs to walk like a man and take criticism like a man. If not, then she needs to go back to the kitchen and bake some cookies.
