There are extremists in every group. As a friend of mine says, “Bright lights attract big bugs.” The Left has its share of political extremists. Some are racists. Some are anti-homosexual. And many are anti-Semitic.

Usually when a leftist goes off the rails, that leftist is protected until he gets his mind right or until the publicity dies down. Alec Baldwin is a good example of someone who has uttered numerous extremist slurs and continues to get work in Hollywood.

Do you remember what Michael Richards, who played Kramer on Seinfield, said in 2006 during a stand-up comedy routine where he used the N-word and said to some blacks in the audience, “50 years ago we’d have you hanging upside down with a fucking fork up your ass”? Even so, he’s back playing the role of Frank in the sitcom Kirstie, costarring Kirstie Alley and Rhea Perlman.

There was Tracy Morgan who “went on a tirade during a stand-up show allegedly saying that gay was a choice and that he would stab his son if he found out he was gay.”

How about Roseanne Barr and her “photo shoot with Heeb magazine wherein she is seen wearing an Adolf Hitler moustache and swastika as she takes burnt gingerbread ‘Jew Cookies’ out of an oven”?

Liberals try to obscure these facts by always claiming that conservatives are the only extremists. Hogwash.

Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz was on the “Ronan Farrow Daily Show” to discuss the Sunday shooting outside a Jewish community center in Kansas City: “When we were kids we learned sticks and stones will break your bones but names will never harm you. That’s a lie, Names hurt. They are horrible, and we shouldn’t be tolerating them in society. But the law under our Constitution can’t move against people simply for expressing views.

“They praise Hitler and they praise Farrakhan and of course Farrakhan was one of this guy’s heroes along with Hitler and David Duke. Here you have a problem with the extreme left and extreme right. [They] have only one thing in common, they hate Jews. The extreme left preaches this kind of bigotry as well, people like Farrakhan people within Hamas and Hezbollah and the extreme right.”

We’re being told that the Jewish Center shooter shouted “Heil Hitler.” Nazis were socialists (National Socialism); therefore, technically, they are on the left side of the political spectrum. The shooter was a leftist if he was a follower of Adolf Hitler and Louis Farrakhan.

Oliver Stone “accused ‘Jewish dominance of the media’ for focus on the Holocaust.” Charlie Sheen claimed that hostile Jews controlled Hollywood. These remarks were directed at Chuck Lorre, creator of the sitcom “Two and a Half Men.”

It’s not just anti-Semitism. There’s a streak of racism among liberals in the way they denigrate blacks with government programs that treat them like children and make them wards of the State. Democrats are the plantation owners and blacks are their field hands for election security every two years.

To deflect this image of themselves, liberals are involved in a form of political transference whereby they transfer their innate racist ideology on their political enemies.

Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.), chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, told Candy Crowley that Republicans are racists without either one of them defining the term:

“Not all of them, no, of course not,” Israel said. “But to a significant extent, the Republican base does have elements that are animated by racism, and that’s unfortunate.”

Typical of a Democrat, Israel does not offer a single example.

We have to remember that a liberal’s definition of a racist is anybody who disagrees with a liberal policy or program. This is especially true when it comes to disagreeing with anything President Obama proposes because he’s black.

The real definition of “racism” is when one race denigrates another race by acting if it’s inferior. Here’s how one dictionary defines “racism”:

“[T]he belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, esp. so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.”

This definition fits liberals more than it does conservatives. Certain minority groups (mostly blacks) are unable to care for themselves; therefore, they need a substitute parent (the State) to care for them. This is what drives the ideology of the Left.

Fortunately we are seeing a change among young people on the ever-present racism charge. George Will says that liberals use the words “racist” and “racism” so often that it’s becoming a joke among young people.

“Liberalism has a kind of Tourette’s syndrome these days,” Will said on “Fox News Sunday.”  “It’s just constantly saying the word racism and racist. On college campuses one person will say it looks like it is going to rain and another will respond, ‘You’re a racist,’ Will said.”

The Left doesn’t have much going for it, so any time there is opposition to its agenda, it’s because of racism.

“If you have the facts on your side, argue the facts. If you have neither, pound the table. This is pounding the table,” Will said. “There’s a kind of intellectual poverty now. Liberalism hasn’t had a new idea since the 1960s except Obamacare and the country doesn’t like it… So what do you do? You say anyone criticizes us is a racist.”
