At this point in time we do not know if the Colorado shooter targeted the Planned Parenthood facility because of its abortion practices. We’re getting conflicting reports.

Some reports have the shooter using the PP facility for cover after a botched bank robbery. CNN and other media outlets are reporting that PP was the target and the shooter was some crazed anti-abortion activist who was motivated by anti-abortion rhetoric and Planned Parenthood undercover videos about “baby body parts.”

The Associated Press is reporting that the police aren’t releasing any information on the motive of the shooter. Even so, before the shooter was taken into custody and anything was known about him, liberal media hacks already “knew” who he was and what his motives were:

“Negar Mortazavi, an Iranian-American journalist who writes for the Huffington Post, CNN and BBC among others, described Dear as a ‘Christian terrorist’ before he was ever in custody. Mortazavi also asked what ‘moderate Christians are doing about their extremists?’

“Similarly, Huffington Post blogger Brett Gleason demanded that ‘self-righteous white christians [sic] please just admit that they have plenty of their own terrorists,’ while the shooting was still going on.’

“One of Dear’s neighbors who spoke to the AP said he didn’t remember the gunman ever talking about religion or abortion.”

This guy popped up out of nowhere. He lived off the grid “on a five-acre plot of land he apparently purchased for $6,000 in 2014. This followed a series of cabins and trailers — without electricity or running water — that he stayed in after his divorce in 2000.” He was also a cannabis user. He seems to fit more of a liberal profile. And as far as we know, he did not attend any church. He does not fit the description of the typical pro-life activist, of which there are tens of millions.

It seems to me if the shooter was an anti-abortion activist with guns that he would have killed the workers at the Planned Parenthood facility. As far as I can tell from the reports that have come out, no one who worked at the facility was shot.

Pro-life police officer Garrett Swasey was killed by Robert Lewis Dear. “Swasey was shot while saving people at a place he abhorred,” Jordan Standridge writes. “He was an elder of a church that believed in the inerrancy of Scripture, and that abortion is evil. Let that sink in.”

No, all the attention is on a crazed marijuana-smoking, living the nomadic life, animal cruelty, peeping Tom nut job.

I sure wish the media had given as much attention to the man who stormed the Family Research Council headquarters with the intent to kill as many people as possible.

Floyd Lee Corkins opened fire at the Family Research Council, injuring a guard before he was subdued. Tony Perkins, president of the FRC, blamed the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “hate group” label as a contributor to Corkins’ actions. After Corkins pleaded guilty, Perkins said the following:

“The day after Floyd Corkins came into the FRC headquarters and opened fire wounding one of our team members, I stated that while Corkins was responsible for the shooting, he had been given a license to perpetrate this act of violence by groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center which has systematically and recklessly labeled every organization with which they disagree as a ‘hate group.’

“Today both assertions were validated in court as Corkins plead guilty to multiple criminal charges, including terrorism. The Southern Poverty Law Center can no longer say that it is not a source for those bent on committing acts of violence.  Only by ending its hate-labeling practices will the SPLC send a message that it no longer wishes to be a source for those who would commit acts of violence that are only designed to intimidate and silence Christians and others who support natural marriage and traditional morality.”

Corkins was carrying 15 Chick-fil-A sandwiches in his bag when he was taken into custody. He wanted to kill people and put a bag next to each victim. The SPLC had designated the Family Research Council as a “hate group” because of the organization’s views on homosexual practices and homosexual marriage.

“According to an interview with the FBI immediately after the shooting in August [2012], which was released during the court hearing yesterday [Feb. 6, 2013], Corkins wanted to ‘kill as many as possible and smear the Chick-Fil-A sandwiches in victims’ faces, and kill the guard.'”

Have you noticed that this story is rarely ever referenced by the liberal media, pro-abortionists, or critics of Christian activism?

“If the pro-life movement is responsible for Robert Lewis Dear’s crimes,” Joshua Mercer writes, “then the gay rights movement (and especially the Southern Poverty Law Center) is responsible for Floyd Lee Corkins’.”
